About the Artist
Biography:
A native Californian, I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Biology. A research technician turned full time painter, I try and balance a passion for color with a lifelong love of animals and water themes. I am inspired by bold color and dynamic brushwork over a strong silhouette and delight in capturing the small moments and quirkier side of life.
Major influences include John Singer Sargent, Joaquin Sorolla, Rosa Bonheur, Anders Zorn, Steve Huston, Lucy Kemp-Welch , and the modern Urban Sketchers movement.
Education:

Robert Liberace, Rebecca Leveille-Guay, Michael Grimaldi, Dan Thompson, Jeffrey Watts, Randall Sexton, Gil Dellinger,
