Tight Turn finished, Pleasure Days

I finally finished "Tight Turn" and I am really excited that I kept of the dynamic, fun part of the painting. I also love the blues in the white horses- it was really hard to not work it to death. White is a really interesting color...or lack of it. It can get really "chalky" really fast but if you are careful, with a touch of color it can be a blast.

Last weekend I had a booth at Pleasure Days Carriage Driving Show at Tejon Ranch in Lebec. It was a wonderful show with beautiful carriages and lovely horses and ponies. Everybody seemed to be really enjoying themselves and the facilities were wonderful. I had a booth next to Karen Levein of Karen's Kreations - who makes the most exquisite hats.
