Dual Mules initial block in

This is an initial block in with a transparent purple in the shadow area and warmed up sienna. I want these colors to bleed through into the finished painting, something that Fechin was brilliant at. Today I'll settle for nailing values and personality- genius is going to take a while...and many more miles on the brush. Speaking of work ethic -if you ever want to feel like a complete pussy read Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential, specifically the chapter, "A Day in the Life". An eloquent kick in the ass and a totally enjoyable read.
